About Trivia Tussle

Trivia Tussle is a trivia game created by Matt Leikam for players aged 13 and older. Play short multiple-choice rounds, challenge a friend with a shared quiz link, and review the answers after each game.
The public website explains the game before a player signs in, opens a shared challenge, or starts a round. It is a place to compare modes, learn the rules, practise with reviewed examples, and decide what to play next.
Game Purpose
The game focuses on casual knowledge battles: choose a category, answer multiple-choice prompts, finish the round, and review the result. The experience is meant to be quick enough for a break but structured enough that a completed score has context.
Trivia Tussle works best when questions are clear, answer choices are plausible, and results show enough detail for a player to learn from missed prompts. Navigation, loading, and sign-in states use direct labels and next steps so players can reach the part of the experience they intended to use.
Quiz Modes
Solo play lets a player choose a category and complete a short set of questions. Shared quizzes let one player send a challenge link so another player can answer a comparable round. Daily Challenge play gives the game a recurring format with limits intended to keep comparisons fair.
Some modes include progress, timing, XP-style progression, rankings, or recap screens. Those features are meant to support the quiz result rather than replace the questions and review content.
Content Standards
Trivia questions should have one intended correct answer, answer choices that are not deceptive, and wording that can be understood without hidden context. When a question depends on a record, award, release year, or current fact, it should be stable enough for a normal player to verify.
The public category pages describe the kinds of prompts players can expect and include original sample questions with answers and explanations. They are guides for players, not scraped trivia lists.
Creator and Question Sources
Matt Leikam is the creator of Trivia Tussle. The rules, practice questions, and category pages support the game. Creator attribution is not a claim that every question has been personally reviewed by Matt or a subject-matter expert.
Public samples are maintained with an answer, explanation, category, difficulty, source title, source URL, source-check date, review state, and public-sample state. A sample with missing evidence or an unresolved validation warning is withheld from the public guide rather than filled in from guesswork.
Automation, Sources, and Corrections
Repository tooling helps organize records and flag missing fields, duplicate wording, questionable answer sets, stale checks, and broken publication rules. Automation—including any drafting assistance—does not establish that a fact is correct and is not presented as the author or final authority.
Sources are recorded to support the specific fact used by a sample, and check dates describe when that source was reviewed, not when the underlying fact first became true. To request a correction, email contacttriviatussle@gmail.com with the page, prompt, concern, and a reliable supporting source when available.
Fair Play and Safety
Trivia Tussle discourages bots, automated submissions, score manipulation, repeated abuse of shared links, and attempts to bypass the normal quiz flow. Shared links should be used for friendly competition, not spam, harassment, or misleading promotion.
Sign-in, settings, loading, error, and active-question screens are designed to keep the next player action understandable. If a screen is unclear or prevents a round from continuing, report the route and visible message to support.
